Description

• Process fixed asset transactions, such as assets acquisition, disposal, transfer in SAP. Monthly, perform SAP depreciation run.
• Provide accounting entries in Capex Purchase Requisitions ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and institution\'s Finance policy & procedures.
• Prepare journal entries monthly, such as accrual, deferred income recognition, adjustment entries deem necessary.
• Monitor open items in Asset Under Construction (AUC) / FA Clearing GL Accounts monthly and perform asset capitalization upon project completion.
• Prepare monthly Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), Intangible Assets (IA), Right-of-Use (ROU) audit schedules.
• Update SAP Fixed Asset register; yearly perform master data housekeeping.
• Generate and distribute fixed assets listing to Institution\'s users to conduct physical assets count on a yearly basis.
• Perform follow up with users on their assets count status and assist to resolve any discrepancies found and assist in the summary report preparation for Institution\'s Finance.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a GCE \'O\' /\'A\' level/Diploma in accounting or equivalent (e.g. LCCI or CAT) preferably with experience in Accounts Payable/ Accounting.
• Experience in SAP / Navision preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office will be an advantage.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Independent, proactive, results-oriented and resourceful.
• Customer service oriented will be an added advantage.
