Jobscope:
- Perform routine mammalian cell maintenance, cell-based assays and molecular biology work
- Perform various cell-based and biochemical assays, microbiology and molecular biology experiments for various projects which may include and not limited to the following techniques:
- RNA/DNA extraction, qualification, and quantitation
- PCR/qPCR/RT-PCR and gel electrophoresis
- Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
- Support researchers and scientists in validation studies of the above experiments according to GLP requirements
- Preparation of samples and extractions for further biological and bio-analytical testing.
- Recording and submitting of experimental data accurately and timely via Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
- Media preparation and quality control monitoring with growth promotion test
- Sample preparation for analysis and internal/external testing
- Maintaining consumables, chemicals, reagents, culture media culture inventory
- Biological, chemical and confidential waste disposal
- Maintaining equipment records (e.g. daily/before use calibration checklist)
- Min Diploma in Biology and/or Chemistry related discipline
- Able to start work immediately
