Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:You will work with athletes, sporting teams, coaches, sport scientists, and engage in hardware and software development to exploit every possible gain that technology can bring to the performance of Singapore\'s elite sport/athletes. Service Delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Move ideas for sport performance enhancement into technology prototypes quickly. This involves hardware and software development and integration \xe2\x80\xa2 Integrate different hardware and software systems to allow for holistic measurements and visualisations of data to serve sport performance enhancement objectives. Sport scientists, coaches and athletes must be able to easily use these systems, visualise data in real-time, if possible, gain insights from the data collected, and thereafter use the insights to improve on their training and competition strategies \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide high-quality, sport-specific, evidence-based, and performance-focused services to address issues identified by coaches, athletes and sport scientists via the development and utility of Sport Technology. Research & Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake R&D focused on strategic requirements and targeted issues that will enhance medal winning opportunities through Sport Technology. Education \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and deliver educational materials to educate coaches, athletes, and students on the utility of Sport Technology to enhance training and performance \xe2\x80\xa2 Teach and mentor fellow peers, interns and trainees in the development and utility of Sport Technology. Capability Development \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify knowledge gaps and resources to bridge these technology gaps \xe2\x80\xa2 Create opportunities to grow the pool of Sport Technology expertise in Singapore \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop partnerships with technology industries and institutes of higher learning to co-create technological solutions that would contribute to the enhancement of training and competition monitoring, and performance enhancement for Singapore\'s elite sports/athletes.What we are looking for:

• Background in Science/Engineering/Computer Science or related specialty \xe2\x80\xa2 Hands-on knowledge in the following areas: o Electronic hardware design and control design (Electronic control system and/or modules, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, circuit design, MATLAB) o Software development using different languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Swift, Java, JavaScript) for application development \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to design and develop electronic control system for feedback controls, focusing on integration and functional performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of other sport science disciplines such as physiology, nutrition, psychology, and strength & conditioning is desirable. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, effective negotiation, and consultation skills, open and dedicated to engaging in respectful and effective relationship building with stakeholders from diverse sports and backgrounds The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records.
