Job Description

We are looking for a

Project Manager (Information Technology)

to drive the end-to-end system maintenance, enhancement, and optimisation of a critical portfolio of applications that serve both operational and regulatory functions.


In this role, you won't just be managing IT systems--you'll be

safeguarding reliability, trust, and efficiency

for services that matter to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

Lead system upgrades and enhancements while managing risks, scope, and timelines Drive change management strategies that minimise operational disruption Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure alignment with policies and ICT governance frameworks Oversee regular project reporting, incident response, and audit preparation

Technical Operations & User Support

Understand how backend systems support business processes Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating where needed Coordinate with architects and vendors to propose robust technical solutions

Quality Assurance & Testing

Review and refine testing strategies, environments, and scenarios Lead functional testing and ensure rigorous validation of vendor deliverables Analyse test results and propose improvements

Vendor & Contract Management

Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance against service levels Draft specifications, evaluate RFQs, and manage the lifecycle of system enhancement contracts

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology

,

Computer Science

, or a related field At least

2 years of hands-on experience

in IT project management, particularly in system operations and maintenance Certified in

PMP

,

PRINCE2

, or

ITIL

Familiar with

ICT operations

, system testing, and government ICT governance standards
