Project Title: faster quality metrics drift detection using advanced data analytics and machine learning

Description:

\xe2\x88\x92Data analytics and machine learning has been introduced in the Micron manufacturing operations to improve efficiency. There are intensive quality metrics monitoring before product being shipped out. New big data and machine learning based data analytics methods are demanded of faster drift detection.

\xe2\x88\x92In this project, a novel method will be developed to leverage analytics and machine learning on the big data generated from various electrical, physical tests and measurements for earlier drift detection of quality healthy metrics.

\xe2\x88\x92the student will have the opportunity to learn and apply industrial data analytics, modeling, simulation and optimization skills to solve the practical issues and bring real impact on the state-of-arts semiconductor manufacturing process.

\xe2\x88\x92The intern will also have opportunity to participate to an end-to-end solution development team to contribute ideas and learn from industrial subject experts.

Scope: explore various machine learning techniques for the feature selection, modeling and simulation on the big test and measurement data. Explore inline and probe data correlation. Explore multiple variables optimization. Explore surface curve turning point detection.

Deliverable: accurate modeling of the quality metrics, early drift detection

Impact of Project: improved product quality control
