Get to know the role You can now apply for our Engineering Summer Internship, running from May to August 2023. Our internships are designed to provide real-world experience that enables you to put everything you've learned into action and give you an opportunity to join us in driving South East Asia forward together. Interns in Engineering have the opportunity to perform their internships in different team, including but not limited to the following areas: Backend Engineering Mobile Engineering Fullstack Engineering Quality Assurance (QA) Data Engineering & Machine Learning Engineering Ops (DevOps, SysOps, DBOps, etc) The Must-Haves: You should be a full-time student majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology/Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related fields seeking a matriculated internship You should be enrolled in a Singapore university, or Singaporean/ Singapore PR studying abroad or have legal right to work in Singapore. Working knowledge in relevant programming tools and languages, including Golang, Javascript, React, Redux, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Dart, Python, Java & Hadoop You should have a strong ability to structure data and write algorithms The Nice-to-Haves Strong communication skills and attention to detail Positive attitude and can-do spirit are critical Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a willingness to learn, but also to challenge the status quo Team player who is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment Having previous experience in Engineering or other related fields may be an advantage We require our interns in Singapore to be covered under the Employment Act (EA) and Work Injury Compensation (WICA) act. As such, our internship opportunities are limited to students of any nationality studying in Singapore, and Singaporean/PR studying in any location.
