Together, let\'s redefine possibilities and leave a legacy that echoes for generations.What you will be working on:The Data Science Accelerator Department (DSA) drives the pervasive use of data across CPF Board to aid policy and operational decision making by providing a consolidated view of good quality data, effective governance, strong data science capabilities and modern data infrastructure and tools. In this role, you will: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop dashboards to support business depts with their monitoring and reporting requirements. In addition to clear visuals, you should value add by ensuring that the data preparation and manipulation process is efficient, the data model is properly developed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the running of in-house training courses for Power BI, PySpark and SQL coding. This builds up capability across the Board to leverage the DA tools found in our cloud-based platform. \xe2\x80\xa2 As part of the capability building and data-smart plans office, you will also be tasked with the maintenance and enhancement of the team\'s website to ensure currency and improve usability. \xe2\x80\xa2 Have the opportunity to work-on and assist in other Data Science and Data Engineering work.What we are looking for:We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s in Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably familiar with Python, SQL, HTML and Power BI. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges. Position is on a full-time internship basis from Jan - May 2025.
