The Singapore based Solution Sales team handles multinational clients across the Asia Pacific region with the most complex Cash Management, Cards and Trade requirements.The Solution Sales person drives revenue growth by identifying our clients' pain points and requirements; and then working with partners across Coverage, Product, O&T, Implementation and Service to deliver solutions that help our clients to grow as well as be more efficient. The individual is expected to navigate our customers' organizations to identify buying centers beyond treasury. This is particularly important in the eCommerce segment, which will be a priority for this individualThe role is one of Sales, with performance metrics such as origination, pipeline, wins, revenues and also client satisfaction, collaboration with other teams and with other regions, within a banking environment. The key objective is to increase penetration of the Bank's Treasury and Trade Solutions within the clients included in the target market of Citi Corporate and Investment Banking.The role will predominantly focus on a portfolio of clients in the Technology, Communications and Gaming sectors. The role requires an understanding of these industries, trends and buying behaviors.Responsibilities: Deal wins - Accountable for delivering against client, and revenue win goals with a high win ratio Prospecting and client calling at a senior level with regional and global clients Client presentations - Develop and deliver presentation and marketing collateral for effective selling and gaining client's mind share Pipeline management - maintain robust pipeline across the various deal stages Disciplined hand-off to Implementation including deal review and kick-off process Portfolio management - review and contribute to account plans and cross-sell opportunities Regional and Global Network management to source deals and co-ordinate responses Business retention / Utilization - Provides proactive business retention / utilization at product level. Supports revenue realization from deals won Responses to Request for Proposals - Working with the Product Sales team, Proposal Unit, and the Product Team, develop and deliver high quality, customized Request for Proposal (RFP) & Request for Information (RFI) responses within customers' deadlines. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of the proposals. Be familiar with TTS positioning and messages from marketing materials and effectively incorporate into all client communication (written / verbal). Champions 'best practices' for effective selling Keep abreast of customer needs & market trends through continuous interaction with clients, coverage & product Participation in industry workshops, conferences and Citi events Co-ordination for global deals Provide input for new product development and innovationQualifications: 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years of Cash and Trade experience. Strong English communication skills (written & verbal) and inter-personal skills. Persuasive and articulate personality. Strong organizational & planning skills: the ability to manage & synthesize many pieces of solution / technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline Strong execution skills. Professional disposition and client-focused attitude towards both internal and external clientsEducation: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
