Operations Manager @ JWO Holdings (Multiple Retail & Cafe Operations)

We are looking to hire an experienced 3 months contract Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our flagship cafes and our existing portfolio of retail stores. This role requires you to lead and grow the team and handle all day to day activities of each store. The role does not allow for remote working, the manager will be on duty daily and oversee all outlet operations.

To be the successful applicant, you should demonstrate exemplary management and leadership skills and ensure that the cafe & retail staff carries out all duties efficiently. You are able to provide exceptional customer service and meet all our outlet needs as well and going above and beyond for each customer. You have extensive experience leading retail teams and working in a retail environment.

Ops Manager Responsibilities:

Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence. Ensuring that all day to day expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs. Receiving delivered retail supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered to respective outlets. Taking inventory of retail supplies and ordering new stock as needed. Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality, product quality and customer service. Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback. Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers. Identifying strategies to retain and attract staffing - PT or FT. You will report directly to the Head of Operations and GM of the company.
Ops Manager Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree or certification in business administration or business management is advantageous. Proven management experience in the hospitality industry. (2- 3 years) Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. Strong business acumen. Exemplary management skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. You will need your own laptop (Windows or Mac).
