Your field of responsibility

This role will be involved in ensuring the timely and efficient handling of the day-to-day corporate actions and income events. They will be responsible for processing clients' instructions for voluntary and required corporate actions globally and supporting change by continual improvement of operational processes. This role also entails interaction with front office to resolves queries and achieve better service levels.

  • Gathering, verifying and disseminating information on Corporate Actions to Front Office and clients
  • Collating clients instructions for voluntary or elective events and instructing custodians in a timely manner to protect clients entitlements
  • Monitoring upcoming events until all details are finalised
  • Reconciling clients entitlements on internal systems against Custodian advices
  • Collaborating closely with custodians/brokers whenever necessary to resolve any discrepancies on entitlements received
  • Crediting client entitlements in a timely manner
  • Regular follow up on late payment by custodians
  • Supporting change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities in operations processes
  • Ongoing self development/cross training across Asset Servicing functions

  • Strong and confident interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and market regulations with a sense of urgency
  • Commitment to learn and tackle ambitious objectives
  • Positive attitude and teammate
  • Proven experience in Banking/Financial operations or more particularly asset servicing is beneficial but is not essential
