Job Description

Looking for a 3D Artist (Modeller) who has a strong portfolio in stylized cartoons. This person should be passionate, self-motivated, and responsible to work in a collaborative environment, and closely within the team to achieve project goals from concept to delivery.The 3D Artist role includes:

• Ability to produce 3D character and/or environment models
• Ensure that any 3D bugs are fixed
• Contribute to the game's content creation
• Serve as a 3D technical/artistic expert for the team
• Coordinate with the Art Lead, estimate the time needed to complete individual 3D art tasks
• Know the technical and artistic constraints for mobile games
• Actively work with other department stakeholders and external collaborators
• Takes ownership of work and is able to work independently

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience as a 3D Artist or other similar roles responsible for creating 3D game-ready assets
• Portfolio demonstrating stylized cartoon designs and 3D models with topology
• Efficient at low to mid poly modelling
• Able to create hand-painted textures (Warcraft, LOL)
• Good modelling and UV skills with a recognized 3d package such as 3dMax, Maya, or Blender
• Intermediate in Z-brush
• Intermediate in Substance Painter & Photoshop
• Intermediate in rendering in Marmoset or any rendering packages
• Ability to translate concept and reference artwork into 3D game assets
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills, has the initiative to participate and contribute in creative discussions
• Passionate about games, bonus points if you are a gamer. : )

Bonus :

• Basic knowledge in rigging and animation
• Familiar with shaders (toon shader, cel shading)
• Experience working with Unity or Unreal
