Roles & Responsibilities

• Assists Engineering Project Manager in managing the execution of 3D model engineering work including multi-disciplinary engineering design related activities and to ensure work performed on the project is in accordance with project requirements.
• Works closely with SMD, Client and engineering subcontractor to identify requirement of 3D model database and 3D modelling system, and establish of 3D model database and system for the project.
• Identifies and understands project specification and execution requirement to prepare 3D model execution procedure and issue document for 3D model engineering execution work.
• Responsibles to establish, monitor and report on Object Management Status for Hull and LQ area and coordinate with topsides engineering subcontractor for Topsides area
• Follows up comments on 3D model execution procedure and manage the comment for closure.
• Works closely with Engineering Project Manager in development of 3D model review plan for the project.
• Prepares and issues 3D model review plan to Client and engineering subcontractor.
• Coordinates flow of 3D model engineering execution information across Disciplines, Client and engineering subcontractor
• Organizes and conducts 3D model review based on 3D model review plan/Terms of Reference
• Prepares and maintains MOM/Comment Register List from 3D model review, and follow up action items from the MOM/register for closure
• Prepares and issues report of 3D model review progress and 3D model review comment register progress and status
• Works closely with Topsides Engineering Manager and Hull and LQ Engineering Manager for 3D model interface

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in offshore project for engineering 3D modelling design, engineering 3D model execution, management, control and interface
• Competent in various 3D modelling software i.e. AVEVA Marine, Navisworks, etc
• Able to manage and control the engineering 3D modelling design execution with engineering team, Client and 3rd party engineering subcontractor
• Able to plan 3D model milestone and 3D model review based on engineering plan and project schedule.
• Able to conduct 3D model review with engineering team, Client and 3rd party engineering subcontractor.
• Able to plan action and follow up action and punches closure from 3D model review
• Able to comprehend the strategies, work methods, processes and systems in overall project execution and engineering execution
