Since 1982, Engineering Computer Services (S) Pte Ltd (ECS) was one of the pioneers in the CAD/CAM/CAE industries in Singapore.Having successfully introduced the 2D CAD system in 1982, running on Hewlett Packard (HP) workstation, ECS transformed herself over the years to support a full range of CAD/CAM/CAE solutions like 3D CAD systems, Computer Aided Machining, Finite Element Analysis, Product Data Management and others.

The growing successes of ECS caught the attention of NatSteel Limited and Hewlett-Packard (Singapore) in 1988 and they became a 29% shareholder of ECS. Engineering Computer Services (S) Pte Ltd remains the champion of CAD/CAM/CAE industry for the newly established group until recently where the company shift its business strategy to focus on 3D printer business.With the new strategic focus, the company now carries a wide range of 3D printer product from low end inexpensive 3D printers for hobbyist to highly sophisticated 3D printers that are used in company\xe2\x80\x99s daily operations. The company also offers 3D print services and online website, Ginkgo3D, to assist user in their 3D printer application.

3D Printer Technician

We are looking for highly motivated, well-organized individual whom has good technical repair knowledge. He/She must be able to solve practical, hands-on challenges as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• \xe2\x80\xa2 Set Up, Commissioning, Training, and Maintenance of 3D Printers
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical benchmarking and demonstration
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Consultation and professional services for 3D model design and making
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop an idea and make it into a three-dimensional product,
• bringing the design or concept to life by operating a variety of machine
• tools and model making to produce cosmetic and functional models and
• prototypes will be a strong advantage.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE / Diploma holder
• Preferably with basic CAD knowledge
• Keen eye for detail and physical stamina
• Able to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Knowledge of 3D Printing will be advantageous
• Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to details

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
