Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:Role and Responsibilities: Recommend, promote, implement, review and maintain a Safety Management System for ActiveSG facilities. Introduce, review, or revise quality, standards, and specifications for safe operations, especially on regulatory requirements governing fire safety, water rides safety, water quality at swimming pools and at workplace. Ensure Sport Centers/programmes/ major events comply with regulatory standards and safety policies Determine and recommend training needs for SportSG and stakeholders in areas of safety. Schedule, organise and conduct or coordinate relevant safety trainings. Work with centres so that they comply to the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Coordinate, arrange and staff OHS ActiveSG Committee and SMM. Follow up and advise on OHS related matters.What we are looking for:Requirements: We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and a champion for organizational transformation through data. The ideal candidate should possess the following: University Degree with at least 2 years experience preferably in safety management or sports Preferably a registered MOM Workplace Safety and Health Officer and / or SCDF Fire Safety Manager and / or BCA Ride Manager Experience in project management Good knowledge of local safety requirements. Risk management and investigation skills. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft applications Good knowledge of local safety requirements Good multi-tasking skills and the ability to strive under time pressure with minimum supervision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport quickly Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
