Job Description

Job Summary: Science Lab Technician act as an support for teachers in schools and ensures a condusive learning environment to students in the schools. They play a crucial role in supporting the educators in various tasks ranging from to subject related matters. :

• Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the science laboratories.
• Prepare teaching resources (including tools/equipment/materials/apparatus and any learning or training kits) in collaboration with teachers.
• Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock and procure of new equipment/materials/components when necessary while tracking the budget and resources utilisation in the Science Laboratories
• Demonstrate competence in use of equipment/machines as well as simple troubleshooting.
• Conduct specific experiments as per HOD\xe2\x80\x99s instructions.
• Conduct monthly store stock take for scientific equipment/material/apparatus.
• Track faulty equipment/materials that need to be replaced.
• Maintain a record of the loaning out of equipment/materials/apparatus to teachers.
• Update database of science resources which include diagrams and pictures.
• Any other duties assigned by HOD and school leaders.

• Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Level or equivalent
• Good organisation and record keeping skills;
• Proficient in MS Office
• Independent and proactive in completing the assigned tasks
• Good communication skills.

• Location: Punggol
• Working Hours: 7.30am to 4.30pm
• Commencement: January 2024 - December 2024
