Job Description
Responsibilities
- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with AR policies and procedures
- Creating and maintaining customer accounts, including credit application and credit limit maintenance
- Attending weekly Sales & Finance meetings to follow up on customer payment status, discrepancies, and disputes to expedite collection
- Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing, including preparation of necessary reports and analysis
- Investigating and resolving customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and activities
- Providing support to the accounting team as needed
- Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Accountant
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
