Upcycle Communications is an independent agency that effects change for the better through transformational communications. We are storytellers and marketers who work fluidly across industries, specialising in purpose-driven communications for brands on a mission.

We cut our teeth on luxury, travel and hospitality, but whenever possible we choose to focus our experience and expertise on the business of good. We work with both established brands as well as growing startups. Our current portfolio of clients include Hilton, Conrad Centennial Singapore and Conrad Singapore Orchard, The Singapore EDITION, andBeyond, Walk Japan, and Beam Suntory to name a few.

Our work includes media relations, social media strategy, content creation, partnership marketing, brand development, thought leadership, copywriting, events, internal communications and strategic introductions.



Responsibilities

• Assigned media monitoring as well as general monitoring for clients in offline and online media, including social channels
• Compile reporting documents and ensure all monthly/bi-monthly reports are submitted on time
• Help generate campaign ideas, contributing to the success and smooth running of the individual client campaigns
• Draft and distribute pitches and press releases
• Support the team in the organisation and execution of media events, tastings, and media drops
• Provide on-site support at events and tastings
• Ensure press kits and media lists are updated regularly
• Draft agendas prior to client meetings / conference calls and send across approved meeting minutes
• Assist to update the Upcycle website, social media (FB/IG) and client list as needed
• Support the team in the research of any third party information on behalf of clients and/or new business
• Keep up to date with the media and influencer landscape, building relationships and a personal list of media and industry contacts

• Someone who has your finger on the pulse and know what\xe2\x80\x99s hot/not in the world of consumer lifestyle, food, entertainment and hospitality both in Singapore and abroad
• A social-media savvy individual
• A Singaporean or PR
• Working or academic experience in public relations and/or marketing a bonus, but NOT a must.
• Excellent in verbal and written communication skills in English
• Comfortable working on Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
