ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing client and inter-agency relationships, playing a critical role in driving and delivering client work within the Healthcare practice.

You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day client relationship alongside your account teams. You will supervise major pieces of business with multiple work streams and team members. Other responsibilities include recommending programs and activities, coordinating with clients on their goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to team members, and allocating agency resources to match client budgets.

You are also engaged with business development, strategic program planning, and the development of creative concepts.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day client direction and counsel
  • Facilitating integration efforts with other agency partners
  • Driving communications support around campaigns
  • Working across internal specialists including media, digital and creative
  • Working with senior counselors on strategy

Experience in healthcare communications, including (but necessarily all of):
  • Rx, prescription, pharma comms campaigns
  • Consumer health, over-the-counter medicines, disease awareness campaigns
  • Data communications for client and their clinical trial results
  • Healthcare event management (media, congresses, roundtables)
  • Healthcare media relations work (media coverage, media contacts)
  • Healthcare social media work (content, films, managing social media accounts)
  • In-house or agency
