Key Responsibilities Day-to-day client management to build strong client relationships, confidence and trust Lead/manage multiple integrated communications programs and be seen as a strategic leader by clients Contribute to the development of strategy and tactics plans as well as cross-community implementation activities for marketing communications and PR plans for client brands and projects Produce high quality, client-ready work, including but not limited to project strategies and plans, communications proposals, media and influencer engagement tactics, press releases, backgrounders, feature articles, reports, etc. Lead the production of sustainability-themed and/or client brand-centric content (videos, op-eds, feature articles, infographics etc.) Keep apprised of clients' brands/products/services/marketing and industry developments - their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends Successfully manage client expectations by ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and quality standards Facilitate cross functional team integration by working closely with team members a variety of functional groups - client experience, creative, data & analytics, planning etc. Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations Lead and participate in client meetings Mentor and train junior team members Education and Experience Requirements Open to cross practice/industry work with keen interest in sustainability 8-10 years of experience working in an agency (or similar) environment Seasoned media relations skills Excellent writer and communicator Strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to solve business problems through innovative communications solutions Experience in managing integrated communications campaigns and interest in pushing the boundaries in the art of communications Proven project management experience, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high quality work that meet client objectives Experience in managing a team and a good team player Experience in regional account management is an advantage Note from the team Weber Shandwick is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
