Omnicom Public Relations Group is actively sourcing for a highly qualified Account Director to join our Singapore Financial Services team. Reporting into our Senior Vice President for Financial Services, this superb opportunity will see the ideal candidate drive the public relations and communications strategy and execution for our financial services clientele, consisting of blue-chip global brands ranging from banks, financial services, asset managers, insurers, REITS, fintech, insurtech , and more. You will be the primary contact point with these clients in driving end-to-end strategic planning, media planning, client advisory on issues and crisis communications, managing internal team stakeholders, reviewing reports, leading WIP calls, to jumping into new pitches , and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compelling public relations programs for our financial services clientele, consisting of global financial institutions across FS, fintech, insurtech, insurance, REITs, asset management, and more
  • Develop and edit high quality written materials (long and short form), including media correspondence, by-lines, speaking abstracts, inclusive of financial public comps and transaction advisory correspondence
  • Management of large and sometimes complex projects and campaigns
  • Build relationships with regional and national media
  • Coordinate regional projects with other offices in Asia
  • Work effectively in a team and mentor juniors
  • Learn and support on budget planning
Key Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in an agency or corporate communications department with experience working on large corporate clients, with an emphasis (or strong keen interest) on financial services
  • Prior experience working on complex, large projects (i.e.: public relations work on large M&A deals, IPOs, etc)
  • Excellent client service skills, strong organizational skills, and creativity in problem solving
  • Superb writing skills, with experience drafting, reviewing, and publishing client and press materials
  • Media relations skills, with experience working with regional and national media firms and stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly and focus on results
