Job Description
PURPOSE The staff will be part of AP Section in Finance reporting to the Finance Manager & will be responsible for the local AP for all divisions (Centralized function)
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of local invoices exclude subcon, carrier & inter-branch/inter-co
- Posting of ad hoc invoice for payment
- Posting for auto Giro payment (Local supplier invoices)
- Checking & review Tender board invoices before posting to SAP
- Billing of payment on behalf for inter-co for expenses paid on behalf
- Inter-co billing for management fees, etc
- Support internal & external audit
- Follow-up inquiry & disputes
- Perform Vendors\xe2\x80\x99 statement reconciliation
- Proper documentation & supporting documents & filing
- Ensure timely & accurate AP month-end closing
- Ensure compliance, accuracy & consistency of works done
- Ad hoc assignment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Diploma in Accountancy
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experiences in accounting on AP (preferred) & keeping full set of accounts
- Experience in both Share Service and Freight Forwarding & Logistics company is preferred
- IT savvy with proficient in Microsoft office (Excel and Word) & SAP accounting system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independent, meticulous and good team player
- Multi-tasks, work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
