About the Department:

At Cloudflare, our collaborative team of Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations work together to help customers adopt Cloudflare and create exceptional Internet-enabled experiences. Our sales team plays a crucial role in solving real technical problems and generating revenue streams that enable the company to provide free services to millions in our community.

Position Overview:

Based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales into the Mid-Market business segment with a focus on consultative and value based selling. As an Account Executive, you will penetrate target industry accounts, execute detailed account planning, build focused relationships, and lead effective sales campaigns to successful closure.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales strategy/plan for the Mid-Market segment.

Drive Sales in the ASEAN region, with a specific focus on Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Cultivate a strong network of contacts with decision-makers in Mid-Market accounts, demonstrating experience in selling complex technology solutions.

Create and deliver compelling value propositions for Cloudflare solutions based on an intuitive understanding of key business and technical needs.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage contract negotiations.

Maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Develop long-term strategic relationships with key Mid-Market accounts.

Limited travel (less than 50%).

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor\'s degree required.

Fluent in English and Bahasa. Proficiency in any other ASEAN language is a plus.

Minimum 3 years of direct B2B selling experience, preferably managing Mid-Market internet accounts.

Experience in selling network security and/or CDN solutions, both through direct sales and via channels.

Track record and relationships in the Mid-Market segment.

Experience with Digital Native sales strategies and approaches.

Experience in short sales cycles but ability to manage longer, complex sales cycles as well.

Basic understanding of computer networking and "how the internet works."

Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms; technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.

Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
