Job Description
The Position
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Account Executive is responsible for the sale of the company\xe2\x80\x99s diagnostic products within an assigned territory.
- This role involves providing expertise and exceptional customer service to accounts, including physicians and other medical/therapeutic clients.
- The Account Executive gathers data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing to capitalize on selling opportunities.
- Build relationships with physicians and key thought leaders to influence the acceptance and use of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products.
- In addition, the Account Executive facilitates the planning and implementation of instrument installation projects. They oversee these projects to ensure successful completion and a smooth transition in lab operations and workflow.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to educate them on the features and benefits of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the field.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a university degree in a scientific or related field and/or equivalent related experience.
Sales or marketing experience in healthcare or diagnostics laboratories is preferred.
