Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Manage general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly classified and documented.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Assist in financial forecasting and planning activities.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for audits and assist auditors during the audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting principles.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Compute taxes and prepare annual tax returns and GST filing


Qualifications:
  • Diploma/ Professional qualification (CAT/LCCI) or Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in bookkeeping/accounting duties or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Meticulous and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently, as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Locations: Macpherson Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
