The Security Risk Analyst works on-site with a large global customer. It requires a dynamic individual with a solid background in transportation & logistics, strong research and analytical abilities, and excellent communication and customer service skills. An integral part of the Security Team, the Security Risk Analyst is responsible for reporting on any incident that causes potential disruption to our shipping network and supplier base. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the execution of the security risk program operations, processes and procedures.
• Actively manage network disruptions and escalate incidents through established communications protocols.
• Support regional and global projects within the Command Center with the support of cross-functional teams.
• Work with fellow analysts to identify global inconsistencies and develop methods for global standardization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments, carriers, vendors and other service providers.
• Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining a positive attitude & professionalism.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from customers and other internal/external stakeholders.
• Collaborate within a team to proactively identify risk gaps, constraints, trends and develop mitigation measures.
• Assist in creating risk presentations, analysis and mitigation plans, process maps and visual charts as applicable.
• Meet minimum annual company training requirements.
• Support Overall program growth and success.

Qualifications
Experience and Education Requirements:

• Works collaboratively within a team, proficient using multiple communications platforms (i.e. email, chat, video conference, etc.)
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, organize tasks efficiently, and perform the risk reporting function accurately
• Effective interpersonal skills, proven ability to listen, and communicate effectively
• Critical thinking using logic, data & qualitative reasoning
• Ability to develop, evaluate, and recommend risk mitigation strategies
• Highly motivated, proactive, strong sense of urgency, able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience collaborating across varied stakeholders and teams and navigating differing objectives while keeping focus on important tasks and preserving our customer trust
• 2+ years transportation, logistics, distribution or related experience
• Continuous process improvement experience, a plus
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• Project Management
• Industry certifications, a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Google suites, Microsoft suite
• Must be willing to occassionally work outside normal business hours
