  • The Account Manager support RMs in servicing client accounts through understanding, anticipating, and executing client's transactions and providing excellent advisory support.
  • It is a Covered Person role i.e., a licensed representative who is in a client-facing role and providing financial advisory services to Accredited Investors.
  • Support Client Advisors (RMs) in client interaction and attend to client queries and review and resolve client enquiries and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Support franchise activities through improving book coverage via referral of wealth and deposit products, including mortgages.
  • Be knowledgeable about the landscape of UOB product suites, and facilitate the transmission of information to our clients
  • Understand clients' financial objectives, tolerance for risk in order to support Senior Client Advisor activities and adherence to Fair Dealing guidelines.
  • Participate with Deposit campaigns to drive deposit growth
  • Prompt and accurate processing of clients banking and investment transactions. Activities include order taking, trade execution, deposit, and loan processing.
  • Provide ongoing financial advisory service to clients through the compilation and provision of marketing presentations, publications/research reports/investment products/high conviction recommended lists and attend to investment product queries as required.
  • Provides information pertaining to client accounts as well as collates reports, prepares client documents and follow-ups with clients, if necessary.
  • Ensures adherence to local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards and escalate service issues to relevant internal stakeholders
  • As and when required, senior Account Managers are required to provide mentorship to new Account Managers as well as participate in ad hoc projects e.g., systems application UAT, process improvements and focus groups.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Excellent understanding of banking industry, platforms and products
  • Team player and meticulous with an eye for detail
Academic qualification:
(i) a GCE 'A' Level certificate with passes in at least three subjects at xe2x80x9cHigher 2xe2x80x9d level
and two subjects at xe2x80x9cHigher 1xe2x80x9d level, or
(ii) an International Baccalaureate Diploma or
(iii) a diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore; or
(iv) an academic qualification equivalent to those set out in (i), (ii) or (iii).Client Adviser Competency Standards (CACS) Assessment
