As an

Accounting Manager

, you will:


Oversee and deliver financial and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. Review monthly client accounts, statutory financial reporting, and service tax submissions. Prepare consolidated group accounts and head office reports for multi-entity clients. Supervise cash forecasting and monthly bank reconciliations. Evaluate clients' accounting systems and internal controls, providing recommendations for improvement. Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards. Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents on all accounting-related matters. Manage billing and collection for services rendered to clients. Guide and mentor junior staff within the accounting function.

Who We're Looking For

Skills & Competencies:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills and familiarity with accounting/payroll software. Meticulous, analytical and detail-oriented. Prepared to work under time pressure in meeting multiple client deadlines.

Knowledge Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of

Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)

and local tax regulations. Compulsory to have

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

. 7 - 9 years of relevant experience is an added advantage. Experience in the accounting function, preferably in accounting firms, shared services or outsourcing services providers. Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, relevant tax and audit rules, procedures and guidelines. Good command of English Language, both written and verbal. Experience in

Xero Accounting Software application

would be advantageous.
