Account Officer ( Payroll) * Location: Buona Vista * Working Days: 5 days (Monday- Friday) * Working Hours: 8am-5pm * Starting Salary: $2,500 - $3,300 Job Responsibilities : Payroll and Account Officer ( Payroll) Location: Buona Vista Working Days: 5 days (Monday- Friday) Working Hours: 8am-5pm Starting Salary: $2,500 - $3,300 Job Responsibilities : Payroll and related processes Record approved leave with supporting records in system and follow up with staff as required following the policies and direction of the Principal Check against employment contract and update bank account details for new joins Update changes in monthly salary with supporting documents Prepare tax clearance for Expat staff who resigned Process staff benefits claims and report as taxable benefits accordingly Process monthly Payroll punctually using payroll system through salary crediting (to gather all the necessary information such as changes in salary/workload, new join, resignations, deductions, benefit adjustment, etc) Process cheque payment for resigned staff's last pay Process monthly CPF report for submission Claim for leave supported by government (maternity, paternity, NSmen, childcare, etc) Prepare template for mid (July) and year-end bonus (Dec) and include in the respective monthly payroll Application of grants details from government e.g. SEC, JGI, JSS to ascertain the accuracy of the amount received Prepare monthly reports to prepare journals for accounting system Prepare accounting schedule Update monthly cash flow details Update in the SDL portal to ensure accuracy in the SDL paid Recover from ACS foundation quarterly, payroll and others processed on behalf Prepare yearly IR8A for online submission Support Finance Manager in preparing the yearly payroll budget and period review Maintain the payroll system with support from the vendor Support the purchase of workmen compensation, professional liability, etc for staff Support all other areas requiring related to staff salaries Automation and Digitalization of payroll system Work with Project team to draw up framework of automation and digitalization for payroll and related processes and set up new/additional 'outside the system' during transition period where necessary Participate in the assessment of current or new payroll system towards automation and digitalization Owner of the new/additional automation workflows post project. Any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Senior Leaders Team and Reporting Officer. Qualifications At Least, Certification in Payroll and/or Accounting Experience and Skills At least 3 years of experience in handling Payroll. Strong IT skills, particularly in Payroll systems and Microsoft. Basic Accounting knowledge would be highly desirable but not essential.
