WHAT IS AN ACCOUNTANT
Our awesome client, a leading retail company based in Australia is looking for an Accountant to be part of their accounting team.
This role will support the bankingteam with processing and reporting of ecommerce and banking ledgers.Reporting to Finance Manager (Philippines) and assisting the retail arm of the business, you willprovide bookkeeping, financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate data entry and processing across the company.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciliation of Cash Ledgers
Reconciliation of Point of Sales Banking ledgers
Reconciliation of Buy Now Pay Later payments
Reporting to key stakeholders on store cash flows and ecommerce platforms
Liaising with external stakeholders for rental purposes
Assisting stores and internal stakeholders with banking queries
Filing and collation of source documentation
Assist accounting team with month end reconciliations and ad hoc tasks as necessary
Providing support to stores and stakeholders on banking tasks
Assisting with collation of year- end audit queries documentation
Processing month-end and year-end work papers and journals for ecommerce
Assisting retail brands with Buy Now pay later and ecommerce payment gateways
Assisting with Process Improvements initiatives within the Banking team
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Newly CA/CPA qualified CA/CPA with 1-3 years' experience
Experience in the use of SAP including its integration with online business banking portals (ideal but not necessary)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-assess
Strong desire to manage and organise your time and tasks efficiently
Have down to earth, adaptable, can-do attitude
Be an independent, proactive personality - you enjoy taking ownership of your role and contributing to the long-term growth of the business in which you work.
