Job Summary:



We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible

Accountant

to assist senior accountant for company's day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, cash flow, salary processing, payments, and GST claims. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with

MYOB accounting software

and be capable of maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Accounting & Bookkeeping



Manage and maintain accurate financial records using

MYOB

. Record all transactions including income, expenses, payments, and receipts. Monitor and reconcile bank statements regularly.

2. Invoicing & Receivables



Prepare and issue

invoices

to clients promptly. Record and track

outstanding/unpaid invoices

and follow up with clients for payment. Maintain an

aged receivables report

and provide regular updates on overdue accounts.

3. Payments & Payables



Process supplier, freight, and vendor payments accurately and on time. Verify invoices for goods and freight charges before payment. Record all outgoing payments and ensure proper documentation.

4. Cash Flow Management



Track

cash inflows and outflows

to maintain healthy cash flow. Prepare and update

cash flow reports

for management review.

5. Payroll



Handle

monthly salary processing

, including CPF contributions and statutory deductions. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.

6. GST & Compliance



Prepare and file

GST claims and submissions

in compliance with IRAS requirements. Ensure proper record-keeping for audit and tax purposes.

7. Financial Reporting



Prepare monthly financial statements, expense summaries, and management reports. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial closing.

8. Administrative Support



Liaise with banks, auditors, and relevant government bodies when necessary. Support the management team in other finance-related matters as required.

Requirements:



Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proficient in MYOB Accounting Software

. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of

GST filing, payroll, and financial reporting

. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:



Office-based role (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM). 44 working hours per week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
