Job Description

We are working with a prominent offshore property developer based in Singapore, poised for a groundbreaking project in Cambodia. As they expand their operations, they are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with an exciting, energetic team with a strong, open culture with a strong desire to grow aggressively, regionally.

Key Responsibilities:
-Financial Management:
Oversee and execute day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
-Accounting Systems:
Utilize advanced skills in accounting systems, particularly Navision and Microsoft Business Central.
Streamline processes and enhance efficiency through the effective use of technology.
-Corporate Tax Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of corporate tax regulations and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Collaborate with external tax consultants to optimize tax strategies for the organization.
-Audit Background:
Leverage audit experience to ensure robust internal controls and compliance with audit requirements.
Coordinate and prepare financial documentation for both internal and external audits.
ACRA Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) regulations in Singapore.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
-CFO Support:
Report directly to the CFO, providing financial updates and insights.
Assist the CFO in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Key Qualifications:
-Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or a related field.
-5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
-Experience with Big 4 audit firms is highly desirable.
-Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly Navision and Microsoft Business Central.
-Possess knowledge of the property and real estate market to provide valuable insights.
-In-depth knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance.
-Familiarity with ACRA regulations in Singapore.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Willing to travel to Cambodia occasionally.
