About Our Client

• Ensure that the month-end and year-end closing for the specified business divisions are completed with timeliness and accuracy
• Prepare and analyze monthly management and financial reports, and internal and externals schedules and reports
• Review and provide leadership to staff regarding the reconciliation of sub ledgers, general ledger and other balance sheet for accuracy and completeness
• Recognise vulnerable areas within the designated business divisions and propose solutions to mitigate the risks
• Verify that working papers, schedules, correspondence, and other documents satisfy quality assurance tests
• Deliver timely assistance and address queries from divisions
• Collaborate and cooperate with other departments or functions for changes to management reports arising from accounting changes, and new businesses
• Stay informed about current accounting and reporting changes in IFRS and local reporting standards
• Ensure compliance of regular and exceptional operations with the accounting policies and internal control measures
• Address and resolve issues and queries from internal and external stakeholders promptly
• Other ad-hoc duties

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA/CA qualified with at least 4 years of relevant working experience in an international organisation
• Individuals from Big 4 with strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards are highly encouraged to apply
• Team management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel with hands-on experience in SAP accounting software
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to think critically
