The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working in a team, you will be responsible for the timely completion of the month-end close process, and that financial reporting is accurate and compliant with group policies and regulatory standards. Maintenance of financial ledgers, accounting schedules and bank reconciliation. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax and other statutory returns to government authorities. Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and complete the financial tasks assigned. Support internal and statutory audits, ensuring the timely completion of audits and acting on issues and recommendations. Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in internal controls and business processes. Support improvement initiatives and ad-hoc activities as assigned from time to time.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a ideally a trading or manufacturing business. It is essential to be familiar with Singapore GAAP and IFRS. This role requires hands-on experience in using SAP and Microsoft Excel applications. We are looking for a meticulous, analytical, technically Accountant with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
