Job Description

• Adecco is partnering with a growing property company and seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accountant to join the finance team.

• In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts and reporting to the head of department, directors.

• Preparing full set of accounts and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports
• Preparing financial audits, coordinate with external auditors and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to management
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting practices and regulations
• Prepare and file GST

The Talent Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of financial project accounting principles, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAGE, ACCPAC) and strong spreadsheet skills using MS Office.
• Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Work Approach: Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Communication: Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
