Berkeley Energy Commercial and Industrial Solutions ("BECIS") is a permanent capital vehicle, established by Berkeley Energy (a PE fund manager) and funded by a fund managed by Berkeley Energy, the Dutch DFI, FMO, Siemens Financial Services and the Norwegian DFI, Norfund. BECIS concentrates on onsite solar and biomass installations and value-added energy services for commercial and industrial ("C&I") customers across Asia. A few of the key markets for BECIS are Indonesia and Cambodia with a substantial installed capacity for biomass to heat installations and solar projects across Indonesia and one biomass to heat installation under construction in Indonesia and team based in Surabaya and Jakarta with a skeleton team in Cambodia.Responsibilities. Review and process employees expense claims. Review and process invoices. Process payments and remittance. Inter-company transactions billing and processing. Accounting entries posting in accounting software (Sun System). Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports on assigned holding companies and/or subsidiaries. Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Monthly expense analysis and reconciliation. Liaise with the external Auditors. Liaise with tax agent. Monthly and weekly reports. Other projects, reports and ad-hoc reports and assignments from Group Financial ControllerSkills and Attributes. The more common skills and attributes that are most needed for this role may include: . Minimum 8 years Accounting experience with full sets of accounts experience. Familiar with online banking payment processing. Organised and structured. Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail. Responsible, accountable, problem solver. Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management and prioritisation skills. Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including ExcelKey skills/Competencies/ExperienceSkills and Experience: . Experienced Financial Accountant or Finance executive, with 8+ years' post qualification experience, preferably working on infrastructure projects or capital intensive industries. Renewable energy experience will be an added advantage.. Experience with preparation of management accounts, financial reports. Experience in invoicing and payment processing. Familiar with foreign currency reporting. Knowledge of IFRS. Experience and proficiency in the use of accounting software (Sun System). • Completed relevant diploma or university degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Management)
• Optional: Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
