Job Description

What the role is:
Provision of accounting and costing services to support HDB in the implementation of its core business function of building and upgrading homes, infrastructures, and amenities for the nation.
What you will be working on:
(1) Provide accounting, budgeting & costing services for business activity/programme assigne - prepare annual budgets, cost projections, related financial & management reports for the business activity/programme - prepare interim/quarterly/ final year end schedules & supporting schedules for the business activity/programme - management and administration of project cost accounts and payments processing (2) Establish & implement sound & acceptable costing & accounting policies and procedures for timely & accurate preparation of payment vouchers & bills (3) Review and monitor outstanding accounts, perform reconciliation between accounts when necessary (4) Handle ad-hoc assignments and other operational matters (5) Participate in cross-departments/groups projects e.g. upgrade of financial and budgeting system(s) supporting the business functions
What we are looking for:
- Accountancy degree or other relevant professional qualifications - Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skill - Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and familiarity with use of financial system(s) - Independent, self-driven team player Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1-year contract.
