Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, including setting up new companies and bank accounts, handling KYC checks, and liaising with banks to address queries. This role also involves reviewing overseas accounts, preparing and reporting monthly financial statements, managing accounts payable, taxation, and ensuring compliance with year-end statutory financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Company Setup & Banking:

Set up new companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Open and manage corporate bank accounts, coordinating with financial institutions. Handle KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and ensure all necessary documentation is in place. Address and resolve bank queries efficiently.

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

Prepare and report monthly financial closings, including full set accounts. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Oversee accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Prepare year-end statutory financial statements and ensure adherence to reporting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage. Proven experience in handling full set accounts, taxation, and statutory financial reporting. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and banking operations. Experience in setting up companies and liaising with banks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
