Our client is a leading player in the telecommunications infrastructure industry. As part of
its expansionary plan, it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as
Accountant (Reporting) (Ref: KHXXX)
Overview
This role supports the monthly and quarterly reporting to the Management and to SGX.
The Job
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare and consolidate Group monthly management accounts
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare monthly management accounts and audit schedules
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in monthly / quarterly / year-end closing activities
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for project costs monitoring and accruals
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare Annual Report, financial statements and SGX announcements
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare and submit Management Reports
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare reforecast
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform variance analysis and provide commentaries on actual versus budget for
reforecast
\xef\x82\xb7 Work with tax agents for computations and submission
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure statutory accounting IFRS / tax compliance
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in system upgrade for consolidation software
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in any ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned
The Candidate
\xef\x82\xb7 Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 working experience in a similar position in commercial firms
Applicants with audit experience will be at an added advantage
\xef\x82\xb7 Organized, meticulous with good attention to details
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong computer literacy, proficiency in MS Excel, experience in SAP B1 will also
be at an added advantage.
\xef\x82\xb7 Fast learner, possess a well-groomed personality and capable of multitasking
