Job Category: Finance & Accounting : What You Will Do:
General Ledger Closing - includes review of accounts, projects, variance analysis
General Ledger account reconciliations (using Blackline) and ensure reconciling items are kept to a minimum / resolve within the same month.
Handles Audit (ie. Both statutory and internal) independently
Tax support
GST/VAT reporting
Intercompany (ICO) Reconciliations and ensure all ICO outages are kept to a minimum
Corporate Secretarial duties (eg. Bank account maintenance)
Cash Flow Management
Prepares year end audit schedules for US GAAP and IFRS countries
Provide in-country support for any finance related work
Assist in Middle East and Africa management reporting and variance analysis
Ensure compliant with the internal controls framework of the company.
Acts as gatekeeper for the company to ensure completeness, quality and existence of the assets of the company
Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the team
Able to work independently and together as a team with the Singapore GL team and the India Pune team processing the AP/AR/ICO transactions.
What You Will Need:
University/ Diploma Degree in Accounting
At least 8 years relevant working experience in accounting field. Intercompany experience is preferred.
Experience in Oracle ERP system and Blackline is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) is preferred.
Experience in AR, AP and GL with good understanding of the intercompany process, preferably in MNCs.
Familiar with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
Experience in handling full set of books is a must
Strong in excel functions and formulas.
Good written, verbal communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills.
Able to collaborate and work well together with minimum supervision.
Attention to details with good working attitude and ethics and strong sense of responsibility.
A fast learner and good team player.
