We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the lighting or electrical wholesale industry and a strong understanding of inventory-based accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations; Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting; Monitor inventory costing and support periodic stock audits; Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings; Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies; Work closely with internal teams to support business operations.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance; Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale or lighting/electrical industry; Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar); Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach; Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
