As we expand across markets and establish our headquarters in Singapore, we are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting across our entities.

Role Summary

The Accountant will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to month-end close processes. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to manage transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Maintain accurate general ledger and support group consolidation activities Prepare financial reports and support management with variance analysis Support GST/VAT submissions and ensure tax and statutory compliance in relevant jurisdictions Work with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors across multiple countries Help implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and automation tools Maintain organized documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies Assist with budgeting support and audit preparation as needed

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting Prior experience in a startup, tech, or multi-entity environment is a plus Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel/Google Sheets Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
