Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of management accounts
• Download daily/monthly statements and perform daily/monthly reconciliations
• Evaluating daily accounting activities and finding cost-saving methods.
• Making journal entries in the ledger for accounts debited and credited.
• Tallying cash in hand and other payment mode at the end of the month.
• Preparing balance sheet and income and loss statement for Singapore at the end of month
• Preparing consolidation reports for the region and informing the Managing Director about the company’s financial status.
• Handling preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance issues for Singapore parent company and subsidiaries.
• Compile, analyze, and present reports on financial information.
• Make entries of daily business transactions in the book of accounts.
• Manage accounts payable as per contract terms with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and ensure the company does not go off the track from compliance.
• Contribute to fixing budget for monthly purchase and office expenes.
• Prepare schedules to be reviewed by Accountant/Finance Manager.
• Assist operations team in daily processing tasks.
• Handle other ad-hoc duties.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance.
• CA/CPA.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin (required for dealing with China counterparts frequently).
• Detail oriented and responsible.
