All in all - a most coveted address.Main Duties & Responsibilities Performs timely month-end and year-end closing, including compiling and analysing financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions. Performs quarterly GST reconciliation and e-filing. Prepares monthly bank reconciliations and other statement of financial position schedules Assists in preparation of annual budget and updating in Sun System. Performs timely submission of statistics survey required by Singapore Tourism Board, Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore Statistics Office and others. Prepares audit and tax schedules and statutory financial statements. Maintains plant and equipment register and ensure correct classification and accurate description including monthly recording of depreciation expense. Keep track of the movement in plant and equipment which includes tagging, approvals for write offs, tracking of fixed assets movement, compiling photos and updating plant and equipment's location. Works closely with the team to review existing procedures and controls in safeguarding the company's assets. Initiates and suggests procedures to improve work flow processes to achieve timely, efficient and effective output. Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of new control procedures. Liaises with IT vendors on any system issues impacting Finance function and resolve issues on a timely basis. Supervises the input and handling of financial data and reports on the company's financial systems and resolve accounting discrepancies, if any.
