We are the pioneers of F&B robotics and automation and started our own food and beverage concept which first adopted robotics in the store. A start-up company founded by a team of former Fortune 500 senior-level executives. We are seeking a highly driven positive individual with good working teamwork to join our fast-growing team.

This role is a critical hire. We will work together to overhaul our finance processes and systems. You will be part of our small team to start, to build a best-in-class finance function as the business scales. You need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and do exceptionally mundane tasks, as that is the painful part of building a great finance function from the ground up.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute actively to the driving of effective finance and accounting initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure monthly closing of accounts is timely and accurate
• Monthly consolidation of accounts of local and foreign subsidiaries
• Participate in the preparation of monthly financial reports and annual group financial statements
• Support the ongoing development of the group accounting policies, including the implementation of process and system changes
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to ERP implementation, internal group restructuring, M&A and adoption of new accounting standards

Experience Requirements/ Preferences:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar functions

• Experience in the F&B industry is advantageous

• Strong understanding of group consolidation and intercompany eliminations
• Audit experience in Big 4 external audit is desired
• Familiar with IFRS
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent and qualified certification
• Advanced written and spoken skill in Chinese and English is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
• Knowledge of Xero is a plus
