Teads is looking for an Accountant based in Singapore, reporting to the Finance Director APAC. You will play a pinnacle role in managing our successful financial day-to-day operations. The Accountant will assist in preparation of financial statements for quarterly closing and be responsible in ensuring accuracy of transactions and documentation compliance with IFRS across the APAC region.

What You Will Do

• Manage full sets of accounts and perform quarter-end account closing activities
• Perform bank reconciliations, quarterly closing schedules, maintaining full general ledger, including journal entry preparation and posting
• Ensure accurate recording of day-to-day transactions into accounting system
• Payment processing from entering of transactions in system to creation of online payment and posting of payment record
• Processing of claims and compiling claims report
• Handle intercompany transactions and quarterly intercompany reconciliations
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like bankers, tax agents, corporate secretarial, auditors and authorities where required
• Engage in continuous improvement of process to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency of operational accounting functions
• Support Ad hoc tasks as per business needs

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance
• CPA or ACCA qualification
• 3-4 years experience in full sets of accounting, preferably with regional exposure
• Ability to prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge in financial and tax regulations, including IFRS to ensure compliance
• Highly motivated individual contributor
• Experience in ERP implementation and in Xero, Dynamics 365 is a plus
• Eye for detail, particularly in managing complex financial reconciliations and high data volume
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with ease and take ownership of assigned tasks or projects
• Experience in the Media or Ad Tech industry is preferred but not required
