The Company The client is a well-known and prominent player within the transportation sector. Due to expansion plans, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Accountant as part of their growing team. The Position Reporting and working closely with the Finance Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for the financial and statutory accounting, month end closing activities, preparation of consolidated accounts, monthly balance sheet reconciliation and maintaining the fixed asset register. There will also a need to be involved in ad-hoc projects. The Person The ideal candidate should have an Accountancy Degree with at least 3 years of working experience. Candidates from Big 4 are also welcome to apply. To succeed in this role, candidate must have strong communication / interpersonal skills, a good team player, detailed oriented and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
