Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and annual income tax provisions including quarterly update to OneSource Tax Provision.
• Perform income tax provision reconciliations, tax account reconciliations and yearly tax filing. Attend to tax queries.
• Prepare monthly journals relating to corporate income tax and deferred tax, balance sheet schedules.
• Co-ordinate and facilitate the preparation of the Transfer Pricing Report and audit.
• Monitor and prepare personal income tax accrual for short term assignees and expatriates.
• Participate and contribute actively in Company\xe2\x80\x99s drive to adopt IRAS Tax Governance Framework (TGF).
• Assist in Internal and external audits, ensure adherence to Emerson policies & procedures, SOX and statutory requirement.
• Support and undertake ad-hoc assignment and projects as assigned, e.g.: assist in yearly stock count.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent accounting certificate with at least 5 years experience in tax and/or accounting.
• Good knowledge of Singapore tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of accounting policy and practice.
• Good interpersonal skills, meticulous and able to handle tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and operations teams, a team player, possess good communication and writing skills.
• Preferably with experience in Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills will be an advantage.
