Julian Grey\xe2\x80\x99s Client with more than half a century of success, is looking to hire an Accountant to assist in the growth of the business. The business involves import and export trading, processing of materials (raw, basic), agricultural and oleochemical products.

Work location: Tanjong Pagar

Job Responsibilities

Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting with a team of 3
Handle year-end closing, GST reporting, tax and audit matters
Prepare monthly financial statement and audit schedule
Ensure timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Maintain accounting ledgers and assist in monthly closing
Ensure accounting policies comply with accounting standards and statutory requirement
Review and improve on work and accounting processes for better efficiency and internal control
Support internal and external audit requirements

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy / Accounting / ACCA, or any equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant accounting work experience
Knowledge in Singapore accounting standards
Good written and spoken communication & interpersonal skills
Independent, analytical, strong attention to detail
