Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office as part of the Controllership team: Accountant What can you expect?

We will count on you to:

• Handle revenue related matters, ensuring revenue is in compliance with revenue recognition policy
• Advising internal stakeholders on issues relating to revenue recognition, billing, GST treatment, etc
• Perform various reconciliations, including revenue and account receivables
• Perform complex journal preparation/review
• Handle full set of accounts for the Representative Office in Myanmar
• Manage month end close of billing system
• Manage GST and WHT filing
• Prepare annual tax filings; review Transfer Pricing reports
• Prepare regulatory filings for MAS
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures and reconciles to appropriate support information
• Assist in various ad-hoc projects assigned

What you need to have:

• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma qualification with ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification
• Minimally 4-5 years of working experience in accounting handling full set of accounts
• Experience in GST filing, audit and tax filing is mandatory
• Experience in a large/multinational corporation would be highly advantageous, but not mandatory
• Willingness to learn, possess a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with different stakeholders including FP&A, offshore shared service centre and external vendors.
• Able to commit on a contract role till end December 2023.
