Job Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be in-charge of the following:
- Responsible for the Accounting functions, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts department
- Maintain accounting transactions for monthly closing, in compliance with statutory law of Singapore and the preparation of monthly management reports and forecast for holding company and related companies.
- Responsible for year-end audit, budget preparation, and monthly forecast reporting.
- Support the Executive Directors to identify, plan, organize, present and interpret timely financial and other relevant information for strategic decision-making and internal control processes.
- Cost control and cash-flow management.
- Assist Management with analysis of strategic and business development opportunities.
- Ensure timely monthly financial reports and necessary business reports are compiled and received from overseas subsidiaries in the region.
- Work with two overseas subsidiaries to compile monthly financial reports for management review
- Facilitate IT support between end-users and IT vendors
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in handling full-set of accounts and preparation of management reports.
- Hands-on experience in detailed analysis of pricing, costing and other decision support tools for strategic decision-making.
- Good understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (Singapore) as well as legal and tax implication.
- Must possess good knowledge of and experience with computerized accounting software. For example, ACCPAC Accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, etc.
- Possess sound accounting and analytical skills, understanding of standard/average cost accounting and internal controls.
- Self-motivated, meticulous and committed individual who can work well under pressure.
- Strong and articulate leadership style.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
